I've got my foodie hat on today. We're having roast pork belly with crispy crackling, roast potatoes, celeriac purée, green beans, broccoli, spring greens, carrots, peas and creamed spinach.

I always like to do a mound of veg so I have plenty to blitz for Jnr and sometimes I like to make it into bubble and squeak the next day.

What's licentious gastronomic jollifications are you in for today?

cow pie with a crust on top
already had it on the cold day
went down well -
apple strudel and coo-tar afterwards

Is Coo-Tar a sweet, viscous yellow liquid synonymous with winged creatures?
I’m having COQUILLES ST. JACQUES and he is having hotdogs with the works
Just marinating some chicken thighs in sherry, soy sauce, garlic and ginger. Hope to make a stir fry with it later.

What is actually cooking though is an attempt at a tea loaf. It smells good. :-)
I've no idea. I'm supposed to be going to Tosco, but have yet to get dressed!
Kebab n beer
Simple for me today as my partner is seeing her daughter and granddaughters. So fish finger sandwichs for lunch and pizza and chips tonight. Can never be a*sed to just cook for myself.
Keralan chicken , balti vegetables and Basmati rice.....all home done.
rocky....is Tosco an Italian supermarket?
Question Author
Oh Doug, you're a man after my own heart... (except I'd have wine)

Tony, fish finger sandwiches have become an art form. They happen to be one of my favourite and I have MIL hooked on them now. If you feel like splashing out a bit, M&S do wonderful fish goujons which make the perfect sarnie.

Rocky, order in. Simples. :-)

Tilly, funnily enough I was toying with the idea of making a tea loaf or Barra Brith but my oven doesn't like being pre-heated. As soon as you open the oven door it goes out and takes all eternity to light again. Roll-on renovations!

That sounds nice, gingejbee. Keralan Chicken is mild I'm assuming?
Madras for him, tikka masala for me.
Keralan chicken is "medium" hot (when I do it!)

Well, between you and Patsy, you've created some food envy here, though I'm sure I'll enjoy my dinner very much. It's the first time in a while I've had much of an appetite.
My cake's done and it's actually risen and looks like a tea loaf!
Too hot to try yet.
That’s great Tilly I’m not much of a baker, I just scraped by my baking section with a pass
A pass is just as good as a... er...pass.:-)

It's a pass that's all that matters.

I can count the number of successful things I've baked on one hand. Rubbish, I am.
I don’t think I have the patience or the precision
I'm just having homemade soup with fresh baked wheaten loaf - what i'd really like with the bread is some Baxter's Lobster Bisque, not because I like it, because I've never tasted it, it's been recommended to me but i can't find it in the supermarket :(
I'm not really hungry today
Friends coming for dinner, so chicken in whiskey cream and mushroom sauce with new baby potatoes, chantenay carrots, green beans, broccoli and baby sweet corn. Followed by tart au citron with raspberries and cream.
