I had a parcel recently from Ireland. Guinness dark chocolate bars, Guinness chocolate truffle bars, Guinness fudge, Guinness salted fudge etc., etc., etc. When I go to Ireland I stock up on bottles of Guinness sauce. Mind you, I have to take supplies of Lurpak, crumpets, pork pies and the like. Free trade rules :)
Lurpak....I will have to get the family to bring Lurpak.... and pork pies....
When I lived in Canada there was a little shop that sometimes got a supply of English food in...including pork pies......we all used to phone each other to hurry down to stock up.....same when one of the pubs got a delivery of English beer...
Irish butter is, Sharon...but I like spreadable Lurpak....may get used to being without it though..can't find the bloody chocolate. Off to bed soon after an exhausting day....but I so want the chocolate... :-(
Enjoy, Ummm....thought about you as we drove through Tip the other day.....wondered if we saw Ginge's mountain....x
Look at that from time to time,Sanmac...not today as a bit of a data hiccup till we get an Irish bank account...x
I love Dublin, GG....last time I was there was the one and only I put my back out as they say....could barely walk but my daughter and I were on a pub to pub folk music event......
Lord, Mother! Said the daughter....you know the meaning of a pub crawl.....as I staggered from pub to pub.... :-)
