Blimey thanks chaps. It is a minefield. Think I should just go to Tesco instead? x

Thank you Vinny, now it's my turn ;-)

I use quite a few American recipes so bought a set of cup measures years ago to make life a little easier. This is written on them.

  1. 1 cup = 8 oz or 240ml.

  2. 1/2 cup = 4 oz or 120ml.

  3. 1/3 cup = 2.7oz or 80ml.

  4. 1/4 cup = 2 oz or 60ml.

I've only ever needed to use the first two, but these measures are quite handy to have in the kitchen drawer and can be bought in most cookshops very cheaply.

Better late than never cetti...ha ha...( :-)
