We're having slow-cooked leg of lamb, roasties, spring greens, peas, carrots, broccoli, green beans, creamed spinach and celeriac purée with lashings of homemade gravy. There's Aldi Pinot Gris and some Merlot to accompany.

We are going to a family bbq later... but lots of homemade coleslaws and salads included, and I prefer that really.

Good afternoon LCG, it's a beef Sunday roast with three veggies and Yorkshire's here and for me and my daughter it's marinated diced chicken in red pepper and garlic sauce with pasta followed by a fresh fruit salad with Onken Apple and cinnamon fat free yogurt

That sounds very civilised, Bobs. I seldom do roast beef but it's my husbands favourite so I ought to treat him really.

You can't beat a BBQ though, Pixie. I love seafood skewers on a barbie.
Son in law loves his roast dinner and prefers beef to either lamb or pork
Linda McCartney Lincolnshire sausages in ciabatta rolls with ketchup and bbq sauce and a small tub of non-dairy Ben & Jerry's ice-cream.
Barbecued chicken portions, spicy rice, corn cobs, green veg medley all washed down with wine followed by a cornetto.

A bit of a change for us today. Roast gammon joint with parsley sauce. New potatoes and broad beans from the veg patch and chanterey carrots. Home made bread and butter pudding(made with Bara Brith)
Its a tossup between venison burgers and homemade chicken korma.

30 pink lg prawns (shells for cats) & half of watermelon. Mini Reese's & crisps to nibble while watching Winners......no cooking today except for full English earlier ;)
No idea...unless 2 coffees/cream, a chunk of St Agur, and 1 square of 90% chocolate counts;).
You certainly get in a LOT of veg in your meals, LadyCG.

I'm down at parents' house cooking for 5, Pasta. There's enough veg to suit all tastes.
nothing will remove me from Wimbledon finals today. Am expecting delivery of strawberries from next door farm.....I know how to laze about
I'm spit roasting a chicken on the bbq and serving with home made waldorf salad, new potato salad and tomato and avocado salad. Then tiramusu for afters. Altho may be too drunk. I've been knocking back mohitos whilst I've been prepping.
