Fruit and Nut - what is the fruit in it. I read it is a dried grape - is that raisin or sultana cos I bought some sultanas recently to put in my porridge but nah didn't like them.

Raisins and sultanas are dried grapes of different varieties. They taste better if soaked first in may be apple juice or whatever you like.

I like them in Cadburys - Rosie - LOL - but not too keen on the almonds as they are too hard for the implants. Wouldn't take a chance on them.

Friend in the care home loves them but bought her wholenuts chocolates. Also for any one who is interested - just went ahead and got the slippers with velcro, sandals with velcro both in a larger size and 2 up in the knicker dept as she has gained weight. Slippers and sandals fitted extremely well and she was delighted. All in all a very good visit yesterday and she was so grateful.

Chris - do like that fruit (dried grape) whatever that is. Read your link.
My guess is anyone will prefer dried grapes covered in chocolate .. to dried grapes in porridge ?
Question Author
Ala you're right but couldn't stomach the sultanas - they went into the bin.
That's nice Jenny. When I'm in a care home will you look after me as well?
Question Author
shoota - I'm not too far from it as well - I hope somebody looks after me too. LOL
That's a date then, we'll get a double room.
Question Author
yes I'll look forward to that LOL
Sultanas, raisins, currants - they're all some kind of dried grape. I've always thought fruit and nut has raisins (a smaller black grape), sultanas are usually from larger green grapes in my opinion.
I prefer Cadbury's wholenut anyway (hazelnuts) :-)
You may want to try Cadbury's Dairy Milk Tiffin bar which has
raisins and biscuit.

The ingredients say it has dried grapes but Cadbury's website says they are raisins.
A classic chocolate. I do like Fruit & Nut but I’m more partial to Cadbury’s Wholenut.
It's raisins (horrible things)
Didn't the advert go
'Everyone's a fruit and nutcase,
crazy for those Cabury's nuts and raisins........'

I've got a flippin earworm now.
Yes it did. I can hear it now!
I'm still singing it in my head
raisins or sultanas?
Makes Cadbury's sound indecisive :-)

I like sultanas in scones and would have thought they were too big to be in fruit-n-nut.
Still, a rather tasty bar of chocolate tho.
