Ravenhead Kilner jars

I have the red plastic screw clear glass kilner jars in order to use them I must have rubber band seals, I have been unable to purchase them. Can anyone give me ctc details of how I can obtain them. Thankyou Irene

Jeremy Clarkson is a descendant of the inventor of those jars and he did a programme a few years back tracing his family tree. He ended up meeting someone who bought the patent (I think) to start reproducing them. I thin it might be this company.
Ravenhead Glass went bust in November, 2000. Since then, spare parts for their Kilner jars have been increasingly hard to obtain. (John Lewis stores used to stock them but they've probably sold all of their stocks by now).
You might have to invest in some new jars. I always trust the Leifheit brand name for kitchen utensils, so it might be worth considering their jars. They're available in many retail outlets or online, here:
