How Long Would I Need To Simmer Pieces Of Frozen Cod To Cook Them?

I'm making a fish soup with vegetables. When they're cooked I'll add the fish for protein.

Of course the size of the pieces of fish are going to matter. A frozen stickleback is going to be done well before a frozen Tuna. If I were cooking fish for a soup or stew from frozen I would pay close attention and using a sharp and pointed knife or skewer keep testing the fish or pieces of fish. I would also be thinking about how long it is going to be before I eat the fish. Think I would only be adding it just before I am ready to eat. Bon Appétit.
