We're having slow-cooked Shawarma leg of lamb which will be served in toasted pitta with crispy lettuce, hummus and chilli and mint.

Wine is in the chiller - is it gin-o'clock yet?

Just scrabbled in the freezer and found some frozen chilli I made.

Haven't had a proper supermarket delivery for well over three weeks.
We're having steak, game chips, mushrooms and onions. Then choc cake.

I do love chilli but I can only eat it when my IBS is quiescent.

Sharon you are a woman after my own heart! I would have to substitute the vodka with gin though...

I might cut the top of my free Thornton's Easter Egg (kindly donated by a major British retailer) and fill it with Baileys and Drambuie...

The way the Chinese hold animals captive awaiting slaughter is heartbreaking.
Steak, chips and peas washed down with a couple of cans of Warsteiner. Actually that's not quite true as I don't like beer with food, they will be taken before and after.
Sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. Raspberry ripple ice cream for afters.

I don't believe China about pet dogs, too many out of the way places will never give up eating them or treating them horrifically.
