Hozelock Easy Drip Sprinkler System
4 Answers
Has anyone any experience of these ?
Last year I fitted the system and even though the sprinklers needed some fiddling to get them to spray properly (for some reason they seem to have a 'sweet spot' for want of a better description) screw them down too much and they don't release the water properly, screw them up too much and they just drip/flow at the spot they're in.
Anyway this year I have 4 raised beds rather than two. Shifting positions of the original 2 mean re-routing too. So 20 sprinklers rather than 12. (Plus some that last year pointed in the same direction, weirdly now pointed at right angles as if the hose had twisted !)
But the main issue is that they won't all sprinkle. Some, no matter where the top is screwed to, up or down, they only manage to drip. I was wondering if the present system is too much for the standard UK water pressure/flow.
Or maybe someone has a different suggestion as to what's causing it. Thanks.
