Apple Sauce

Earlier we peeled the 18 (3 packs of 6) Braeburn apples we were supplied with instead of 3 Bramleys in our click and collect and made apple sauce.
Success! Didn’t add any sweetener but did add some lemon juice and it’s lovely.
Now have 4 containers of it in the freezer.
Waste not want not :)

We did Tilly. It was click and collect and didn’t find out till we got the shopping home.
I looked on the internet and asked on here and realised I could make apple sauce with them.
It’s made me far more vigilant about ticking the box about accepting substitutes, so a win win really.
