New Lockdown Rules In The North East Of England
Are these the most draconian yet?
// For the first time since the coronavirus pandemic began, it will be illegal for people in parts of the UK to meet people they do not live with in pubs, bars or restaurants. //
Talk to someone in the pub and it’s a £6,400 fine.
They say they don’t want to hurt the economy, and then they do this. This is a dangerous Government because they have gone power mad. They have given themselves extraordinary powers without parliamentary scrutiny, and now they are behaving like a banana republic dictatorship.
Rant over.

"Joe Bloggs" isn't allowed to meet up with people that he doesn't know in a pub ..... so off he trots to the pub, on his own ..... oh ..... the rest of his friends are already there.
If they all follow the socially distancing guidelines, how is anyone meant to enforce this??
Is it a case of, if you get to a pub and there's someone already there that you know; then you can't go inside??
Absolutely bonkers !!!!

The problem is there are are 6 or 7 different sets of rules depending on where you live.
1. England
2. Wales
3. Scotland
4. N. Ireland
5. Bolton (pub and restaurants all shut)
6. North West, West Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Leicester - Lockdown 2
7. The North East - you can’t meet anyone not living in your home.
It is no wonder the Prime Minister gets it wrong. The difference is, he just looks like a fool (he must be getting used to that) but if we et the rules wrong we can get a £6400 fine.

// Johnson has a 80 strong majority.
He is very unlikely to lose his carer.//
imagine it on a slack morning
Johnson for it is he - floobing his hair-- -home darling
Carol the carer: hullos sweet one - bad day at the office
J - dicas bis! (*)
C dont lose it darling - thingey has to have a father! ..... etc etc
(*) you can say that again! - - dicas is subjunctive and we latin scholars call that a potential subjunctive - - quis neget carmen petro?
