Harvest festival in schools at the moment.
Have to pick them up. Get requests to pick up at certain times as the kids are been released at certain times due to distancing etc.
Went to 2 schools today and all the kids were in the play yard together????
Can someone please explain the rationale?

Whatever measures are introduced it is not possible to prevent a virus spreading among schoolchildren. The sooner that is accepted the sooner we can concentrate on some "focussed protection." That is, properly protecting those who are vulnerable (and who want that protection) and stop trying to stem the tide of infections that is spreading through those groups for whom the virus presents no real threat.
A see your point naillit but we either after shut schools alltogether again or you after accept that children in school have to be in small classroom's of maybe 30 all day sitting in rows and walking down buzy corriders waring masks so theres not much point making them all stand 2 meters apart for a short break at playtime when there close together all the rest of the day. But the do after stay with there class all playtime's and lunch's .
hi nailit. When children (who are not particularly susceptible to the virus) are being picked up, they are usually being picked up by adults (who are more susceptible). In my childs primary school, the whole year groups (yr4) is in a bubble, and so are in the classroom and playground together (but not with other year bubbles)
