Open tin, decent contents into Pyrex dish. Sprinkle nutmeg, cinnamon and a little brown sugar over top. Pop in oven until hot and brown under grill.
Served in a pudding bowl.

bleugh to sultanas in rice pudding.
I do 100g rice, 1.25 ltrs milk and 70 g of sugar in oven for 1 hr
Never made one.
Recall grandmother used to make a great one though.
Got to be in the oven with condensed milk although I've never made it ( shameful) my Mam made the best till it had brown skin on it, I can taste it now
My mum makes it often but I don't.

I remember it at school with a dollop of jam. Or was that semolina? One of the two anyway and the other had chocolate flakes.
That would be Semolina ( great for your roasties , makes them really fluffy )
My mum makes semolina cake soaked with syrup :o)
One in the oven at the moment, 100g pudding rice, 25g caster sugar, tsp nutmeg, 700ml whole milk. Grease 1.5 litre dish with 15g unsalted butter, mix rice, sugar, nutmeg in dish, add milk, mix thoroughly, into oven at 160c (fan 140) for 1:45, check and if not quite done give it another 15 mins
Bobisox condensed milk? I have made with evaporated milk but never tried condensed would that not be too sweet.
Love rice pudding. Open tin, heat in pan and serve with a dollop of fresh cream - yum!

I could eat condensed milk with a spoon straight from the tin,I bet it would be lovely in a rice pud.
I love rice pudding...skin on, and cream. But I never make it as I don't really eat rice anymore.
½ cup of risotto rice, pint of full fat milk small tin of evaporated milk, two tablespoons caster sugar, nutmeg, heat the milk to boiling, put rice in slow cooker add milk and sugar stir cook on low setting stirring once after an hour. Then leave cooking for another hour for whitish rice pudding or do what I do and leave it for a total of four hours by which time the milk and sugar have turned to a thick fudgy sauce
Last time I had rice pudding was just over 60 years ago at junior school.
