Slight Cracking On Tyres
My car passed mot today with advisory of slight cracking on two front and one back tyre. I always go to this garage and usually get any advisories done pronto. He said to check them in about 6 months. Does this mean they are not too bad and safe to drive

There is a 4-digit code on the tyre wall; the first 2 digits are the week number and the last 2 digits are the year number eg, 0118 is week 1 of 2018. The recommendation is that tyres over about 7 years old should be changed, regardless of tread wear as sunlight ages the rubber. Other than that, unless the cracks are very pronounced, I wouldn't worry too much but keep an eye on them.
