I Feel Cheated!

Tesco were advertising 25% off all wines. I went on line to check they had my favourite, White Zinfandel. I went on line on another site to check the t & C, it said any wine over £3.50 qualified. So off we went. We bought 12 bottles each. Went to the till. Cashier said she couldn't give a discount as limit was £5 per bottle. I explained about item on the internet. She said if we do a screen print of item we would get our refund. So we went back with print out. It said all supermarkets and it named them were giving 25% off all wines over £3.50.
She called a manager. They refused saying Tesco did not authorise the article.
I think this is absolutely disgusting.

If it wasn’t a Tesco site you can’t really expect them to honour it.

Well there's your problem then. It's not Tesco you should be moaning about but 'the other site'.

You should always check information with 'a primary source' (i.e, in this case, Tesco's own website):

I felt a bit cheated today. I ordered 3 bottles of wine and Morrisons didn't deliver them. They were for presents so I had to actually get dressed and go to the shop. Wasn't happy about that.

I had a look on the Tesco website and I can't see it says 25% off all wines.

If you look for the wine you want, you'll see if there's an offer or no and it appears the offer is 25% off six bottles or more but it also appears to be only those that are £5 or more per bottle.

If another website got the minimum price wrong, that's not the fault of Tesco, is it?
