And there we go Jack. I'm the complete opposite. I love broccoli, especially roasted. In fact I'll often make broccoli cheese, rather than ruin a good cheese sauce with cauliflower!

Kim Chi - salted and fermented vegetables. When I worked in South Korea it was served with every meal. Very useful as a test for anosmia.

When we lived in Gibraltar I was invited to a calantita evening, a local speciality. Just imagine wallpaper paste made into a very thick pancake. Another UK teacher there suggested I doused it with ketchup, didn't improve it at all, utterly vile, I have never before actually retched. It was years before I could even look at a chick-pea.
