Keep em coming. Ty both.

Also gonna cut into triangles .... roughly how many per person? 3 ? It’s not a full on lunch .... it’s a mid morning farewell for a colleague who is leaving
Bacon, brie, caramelised onion chutney.
Years ago I used to buy egg and smoked ham seeded deli rolls from M&S. They were lovely. I think they also did cheese and coleslaw sandwiches which were nice.
Hard boiled egg with Mayo and curry powder.
Philly cream cheese with ham and marmalade
Marmite and strawberry jam and cheddar cheese
Cucumber and smoked salmon
Smoked salmon and cream cheese

Pulled ham with mustard and dill sauce.
Tuna and raw red onion rings.
Tinned red salmon and cucumber
Prawn and prawn cocktail dressing.
Chicken and salad
Crab sticks and salad.
Stilton and mango chutney is a superb combination.

Cream cheese (or cottage cheese), crunchy peanut butter and celery also works well!

Seeing LadyGC's suggestion, Bacon, Brie and cranberry sauce is a favourite of mine.

I'd go with rare roast beef, thinly sliced, with tomato and rocket.
//Thinly sliced pastrami, gherkins, slick of mayo with mustard on rye bread//

Wow, a very unusual combination and not one I've ever thought of before. You're not the first to mention this highly unusual recipe though...

Rockrose aka Martin Millar strangely has the exact same acquired taste as you...
