Stop it. Polly has a valid point. My son (22) still goes round to the elderly people he delivered papers to open their jars. That is before he goes to his full time job.
oh my christ LOL what a sait your son is what a place in heaven he deserves these poor old people what on earth would they do with the contents of their jars if it wasn't for your son?
we know why covid is such a problem, Ummms son (22) has been going and touching everyone's jars... I wonder how many jars they need opening on a regular basis and if he gets paged, text messaged or if there is an optimum time for him to go knocking for jar opening
bless him, he gets up at 6am to go open Mrs Doris' jam for her morning toast every day
Needtoknow, those jars still need a good grip, you obviously have no idea how hard life can be for some people.
I peel and chop my neighbour's swede because she can no longer do it - and sometimes I struggle. Frozen swede doesn't have the same texture at all.
I have to use nut crackers to open a fresh bottle of mouthwash and there is nothing wrong with my hands or my strength. Some prescription pill containers are nigh on impossible for some.
