It's more pleasant than the usual tramp juice.
Thatchers cheddar valley for me.
Nah, screw the boycott, I love a little drop of Kopparberg. I'm a sucker for fruit ciders and these are amongst the best. The elderflower and lime one is lovely.
Idiots

along with Ikea and Grolsch.

The Ikea boycott is particularly hypocritical.

The keyboard woke warriors carry on trying to silence anyone who doesn't share their warped narrative;

This to me, all smacks of 1930s Germany
found it too sweet, stick to my Bulmers original cider thank you.
Not had Kopparberg but I certainly wouldn't avoid it on someone else's say-so. Occasionally I would have a pint of Stowford Press if I felt like
a cider.
i like pear cider but they currently don't do it at my local which is a pity.

This isn't actually a thread about good or bad cider, it's a thread about woke censorship & intolerance
Okay, so Kopparberg have decided to pull their ads from GB News. So what? That's their choice and hurts no-one but themselves.

Be honest, if it was reversed and the left were boycotting a company the same way, there'd be cries of "Snowflakes" coming from these very pages.
So Khandro, ARE you boycotting Kopparberg because of your opposition to GBnews or was that statement tongue-in cheek?
^^^ sorry, stick wrong end of. shoulda read the link!

Mozz //Be honest, if it was reversed and the left were boycotting a company the same way, there'd be cries of "Snowflakes" coming from these very pages.//

Errr, this is the left boycotting a company - GBNews. Wake up!
The best cider is made by TGL herself!
so what have TROB got against GB News? probably the title for a start!

mozz 18:57, I just knew you'd be a fan!
I suppose there's a slim chance that some of the water being used in production has passed over her mouldering bones, Tora, but I think you're wide of the mark there.
I can't boycott something I don't drink, but the idea that advertisers can't pick and choose which venue to advertise in is laughable. They do what they want, you make of it what you will, that's it.

> I'd never heard of the stuff

Something's working then!
//Errr, this is the left boycotting a company - GBNews. Wake up!//

That's not how I read it. Someone (I assume a lefty) complained about them advertising on GB News, so they pulled their ads. Now fans of GBN are boycotting the company as a result. The boycott isn't from the left, but as a result of the lefty actions of Kopparberg.
