I called to my local post office to ask her about me lodging more money in. No problem.
This lady has done business before and was able to phone the main office on my behalf. Last time I was able to give the other person my permission for the lady in question to deal with my business.
My main thing is at the moment - when I got the bumph from Post office last September they never sent me a "pass card" and I was unaware of this so that's why the girl was ringing.
However she got a very rude man on the other side and wouldn't deal her or me with re Data Protection Act.
I am now on computer trying to find an email address to Post Office - but to no avail. It keeps saying ring but I cannot hear them. Also they are (according to the girl) looking for my security code - which I don't know where that is. I don't even know where to look.
savings account - tried to get through on a number but the man was horrific - I had to give up.
I then contacted the post office girl and told her - she said that in the bumph last September when I applied initially I should have received a book for me to lodge any more money in.
If I'm understanding correctly you opened some type of Post Office savings account and never received a pass book. What evidence do you have that you opened the account?
everything but the pass book - since it was my first time joining a savings account in Post Office - I didn't know what to expect and so I thought I had all the necessary bumph.
You might have to go in to the PO but with the card they should be able to find your details and issue a book. However I think you can deposit money using the card
