I can't stand the Food and Drink category and I am not an expert on wine and drink, although I am a wine snob.
Marques de Almereida, an Albarino from Northern Spain sold by Waitrose for about £14 a bottle ..something special which doesn't show off with crispness, fruitiness or any other of the adjectives which describe the properties of wine, but chilled it is a lovely and satisfying wine .

Might
I suggest a simple meal....kedgeree with large portions of smoked haddock, whole grain rice fried in butter in a pan inthe centre of the table with the bottle of Marques chilled and taking central place on the table and get out your cut glass white wine glasses.
Make sure that you are showered, perfumed and wearing your favourite, possibly figure hugging dress with just that hint of jewelery and enjoy, chat, experiences and funny stories.
Pancake with poached peaches and ice cream to follow.
Had a dress very like that in the 80s in my only size 12 period, except mine was a blue violet colour , now I am a size 24 , still prefer dresses to separates though, just more of the flowery practical, farmers wife variety.
I have two dresses very similar to that. One in black and one in a claret colour.
