Good Morning Early Birds

its an early start but i don't mind, it's quiet and that's good. Have you any thing planned for today. I have Bright Sparks the charity people coming to collect some more goods including the new console table, that's if they want it. There are sundry bric a brac items they can have and i hope they go to a good home.

I am off to lunch with a friend this afternoon at a local Lebanese Falafel café, which i am looking forward to, hopefully the weather will be clear and we can sit outside.

i hope your day goes well whatever you may be doing - has anyone noticed the dawn is later now, it's still dark and the nights are drawing in, we don't seem to have had a summer and already to me at least it's beginning to feel a bit autumnal.

Morning Emmie. Lebanese cafe sounds nice. There's one in Birmingham which I've only been to once.

We're going to [finally] see Riverdance in September and we've booked an interesting looking restaurant called Craft. They're really only just getting going after all the lockdowns, but their outdoor capsules and pods look rather interesting. We've just booked the dining room for now.

Morning. Another night with no sleep.

I'm staying to rest my back as much as I can because I'm going to my sons for dinner on Sunday. He's not long moved in and has done so much work already.

i have only seen them on the TV but always marvel at the precision of the dancers. And the music is always great.

I went to see Riverdance when it first came out. It was amazing.

why did you get no sleep, is your back still plaguing you ummmm

i know the feeling of constant pain, both knees have osteo arthritis and the feet too. so i walk very slowly these days, which is a nuisance.

I don't know, I just can't sleep. I've had about 4 hours in 5 days. I've given up even going to bed at night now. I have more chance of dropping off if I'm in the bed on my own.

Yes, it was their 25 year anniversary tour I think. We should have gone to see it in April 2020 but had gone into lockdown by then.

We treated OH's parents for the Christmas and they just managed to see it in Nottingham before the lockdown was announced.

It was a fantastic show by all accounts, incorporating Flamenco and street dancers...

can you sleep in another room for a night or two ummmm

No, they are occupied. As soon as my niece clears her rubbish out of one of the rooms I'll buy a new bed for that room. Maybe decorate it as well. It only has a single bed in there at the moment but it is well big enough for a double.

by the way the white vinegar spray allied with the viakal worked a treat, the bathroom base is now clean. I will have to make sure the anti slip mats are hung up on the rail after my shower, that way perhaps they won't leave hard water marks,

He wouldn't care where I slept, he just wants me to sleep. He's being really good because he can see how frustrated I can get especially as he can drop off in seconds.

Yes, that's the best thing to do so they get to dry out properly.
