Our new local Lidl opened its doors today.
It is MASSIVE.
Our other local supermarkets, Co Op, Aldi and Asda have some staff competition now.
They have some money saving gimmick with coupons.
Anybody know how they work?
It's an app that you download. The coupons are on the app and you download them and then scan them at the checkout which really slows down the checkout process which Lidl probably hate because they want people to pass through the checkout as fast as possible. I deleted the app as the vouchers with so called savings were for rubbish such as cheap orange juice, crisps and other junk which I wouldn't buy. If I was you, I wouldn't waste my time.
If I remember rightly you have to spend about £100 pm there to get any kind of money off as well. I didn`t like the fact that the app asked for a lot of personal information as well but that was all deleted from their database when I cancelled the app.
