morning, Tuesday and its another early start. I hope that you are in good health, if not then you have my sympathy, and have a very pleasant day ahead. Anyone have plans for today? I am not sure what I am doing today, perhaps have lunch out, decisions, decisions. It depends on what the weather does. Whilst it's not been too cold it has been grey and drizzly, so we shall see.

Hello Emmie. Long chat with my girlfriend yesterday evening about her mother's issues and my mother's issues - it's a struggle, but we dp what we can. How are you?

after a lot of calls to doctors, MSK clinic, finally got my test results for X Ray and bloods, and its not good. Degeneration in both knees and bloods showed up inflammation in the joints, and there is a possibility i might need a knee replacement, oh help, that wasn't what i was expecting.

what issues Jim?

Dementia, really. Both our mothers suffer from it. Neither seems to know who either of us is. It's very sad...

that is very sad indeed, my mother suffered for two years but had some recognition of us at the end.

can you both see your mums? and is there any recognition of you both, if not then you have my sympathy.

Not really. Just a matter of time, really...

so sorry to hear this, it must be difficult to bear for you all.

mum passed away 4 and half years ago, and we have yet to scatter her ashes. Rarely does a day go past where i think of her and the tough life she had. Still you have your mum now and treasure her and your gf's mum too, sad as it is.

Emmie sorry to hear about your knees but if a replacement is needed it will give you a new lease of life with no pain

main problem is getting up and down my flat stairs there are four flights of stairs, how will i do that if i had surgery, recuperation time?

Recovery is about 12 weeks with 6 of those on crutches it would be difficult for you but in the long term worth it

i couldn't do it then, too much to ask to get up and down stairs on crutches. 12 weeks is a long time...
