We must be honoured as it's coming here to the West Country.

I wonder if they will be giving out free samples in the city centre...?
Will it be appearing on a what's for dinner thread any time soon?

Ill be giving that a miss.
Once at a family table in a restaurant (Booked) about twelve of us sat at a long table Whilst eating my Sirloin steak... you wouldn't believe, the harping on on from (three family members) about the how poor lambs, cows sheep etc.. they are, they were put in their place being 'Out Of Order' because I were also in the company with other 'Meatosaurases' That's why it gets my goat... especially as Veggies/Vegans are so rude and miserable. Nothing Personal
btw I do know carnivore.
Ark; I'm vegetarian, and I would never attend a meal and then complain to my hosts about the consumption of meat by others. People come in different sorts, and some are self-centred and preachy and some are a bit let-live and tolerant.
I'm of the latter, so are they (Aunt and cousin) were two.... it were about ten year ago... all is forgiven but hasn't changed my attitude.
It's not for me thanks but whatever floats your boat.
I'd rather eat the paper serviette, rare that this may be..
"But I'd like everybody else to reciprocate and not make me feel guilty because I like a fillet steak."

If, in the future, the "printed" product were indistinguishable from the real thing and either cheaper or had fewer environmental impacts, which one would you go for?
Yes. I don't mind people opting to be weird and not eat meat - that's their choice. I do mind them trying to tell me what I should eat and expecting me to cater to their whims at any level above, say, substituting a cheese sandwich for a ham one. I was raised to understand that if anyone was kind enough to feed me - you ate what they provided. ...... I ate some things I definitely didn't like as a child.
I eat meat. I like it. I intend to carry on doing it. Can veggies understand that please? Just leave well alone.
Just read Corby same time as me. I'd no way go for the printed steak, indistinguishable as it may bethought. Think of all the chemicals involved in making it so? Proper meat and blood for me, thanks.

What about those whose diet is restricted due to religious beliefs?

Should their beliefs not be catered for?
Well, Corby, no-one has ever been bad-mannered enough to ask. Most, if not all, religious beliefs regarding food are subject to disclaimers under certain circumstances. For instance, Muslims do not have to eat only Halal if it is not available.
