Lamb Leg In Slow Cooker

i want to roast lamb in the slow cooker. Do i need liquid? it's a half leg, and i don't want to casserole it, rather cook it whole

I cook joints of lamb in the slow cooker with a little stock, usually shoulder. It doesn't roast, though, more of a braising. I prefer to roast leg in the oven but it will be tender and tasty done in the slow cooker.
