Now Boris has kinda gone, Starmer holds a press conference to inform the nation that he didn't break the law. Neither did most of us. He's a limp lettuce leaf and the Labour front bench know it. At least Kinnock or, even, Corbyn had some balls. The Tories will get a boost from a new leader's honeymoon period. If Labour are at all serious they have to get rid of of the charisma by-pass.

The police cleared him (again) this morning.
Is he supposed to not comment on that?
He has been very slow to grow into the role this far.
Labour need Chris Bryant as their leader, Wes Streeting may be one for the future.
I didn’t see it. Did he happen to mention that the police and crime commissioner is a Labour stalwart?
Not impressed with Starmer.

That is a bit of an assumption. Depends who it is. And their past. And whether they can u ite a very disunited party.

Utterly useless. If you can't make real progress against the Tories now you never will. How many open goals do you need?
As I said before, I’ll take “boring” any day after what we’ve just had (um, still have).
And that includes any Tory

ich: people are generally not motivated to vote for people who are, or are perceived as, boring. Not rocket science is it?

The Conservatives politicised the police and crime commissioners when they made it an elected role.
My police and crime Commissioner is Andy Burnham. I would guess yours is connected to a political party, because they all are.
Why are Labour so averse to female leadership?
I didn't know they were Hazi. Personally, I think Jess Phillips would make a great Labour leader one day.
TTT, perhaps because Angela and Diane are the best they’ve got!
Mozz at 17.03 I agree.

Blimey, ToraToraTora hasn’t even posted on this thread and you’re replying to him!
Are you sure you’re both not Dorries and Johnson? Lol
yes, but you haven't been assailed on the front page of the Daily Mail as a lawbreaker, several times, and you haven't (as far as I know) been investigated at the behest of the ruling party. Having been accused so often by so many, he's right to assert his innocence. (As you have just asserted yours.)
Oops, I meant hazi.

John Major? Voters do sometimes yearn for calm after the storm.
