I've just switched on BBC One and found a cookery programme. Jane Baxter is preparing something with long hair dangling over what she is doing. As she is talking, she is moving her head and the hair swings over the food. Does it bother anybody else?

No...because I don't watch it and I'm not eating her food.
Nope. It would if it was a restaurant rather than an entertainment show.
it bothers me when i switch my telly on and chances are there's a cookery programme on . . .
Yep - the whole cookery schtick is a complete turn off for me. But I agree, proper cooks would have their hair in a net.
Lots of things bother me when I watch cooking shows.....handling chicken then using hands for something else straight after; hair as you mentioned; not rolling sleeves up before kneading dough; bits of food flying off the chopping board when the cook is doing the fast chopping.

I need to get out more.......!
At the staff Christmas Dinner I found a very long dark hair in my meal. Wouldn't have been so bad had it not reminded me of sitting across the desk from a pupil with long dark hair earlier in the week.
When she shook and scratched her head lice dropped down onto her book. :-(
So long as it’s not pubic, it doesn’t bother me.

Mind you I do like watching Nigella for some reason, I can’t put my finger on why
James Martin the only one I watch.
Just as well you can't put your finger on why, Arky. We'd miss you when you were arrested. ;-)
Once bit twice shy
