From what Ive been reading about them, air ‘fryer’ is the the wrong name for them, aren’t they just a small convection oven, nothing to do with frying?
I get that things cook quicker in them because they’re smaller than a conventional fan oven, and I know there are a few folk on here that swear by them, but for myself I won’t be buying one.
wolf, would you cook a joint of rib of beef or leg of pork in the air fryer? Enough for four adults with leftovers? That's the sort of thing I cook in the oven.
Thanks, wolf. I'd cook the sausages on the hob and the sausage rolls in my combi microwave on the 'turbo bake' setting.
I'm not convinced that I need an air fryer cluttering the place up.
