Today for us it's roast pork and crackling, stuffing, roast potatoes, savoy cabbage, spring greens, carrots, peas, celeriac, broccoli, sprouts and chestnuts and gravy.

What's amusing your bouche today?

Not ones for the conventional Sunday roast (too many memories of regimented Sundays which I can’t abide) we’re having home made pizza later. Mrs Z has got a stew going as well in the Ninja, for tomorrow.
Rib eye steaks, roast potatoes & parsnips, Yorkshires & vegetables.
Followed by Apple crumble & ice cream.

It's what you fancy, ZM. To be honest we don't normally do roasts for the 3 of us. We mostly do roasts when we invite the in-laws.
Question Author
OH likes a ribeye, Sharon. I can't stand any fat on meat.

Apple crumble is divine with ice cream.
I may have to go out and buy an apple crumble now, tho.
Cheesy pasta
Guinness and Fish'n'Chips - not sure yet in what order ...
Question Author
Zac, I was thinking the same.

How's your daughter now? Our next-door neighbour collapsed a couple of weeks ago and was subsequently diagnosed with GBS.

Very nice, Hopkirk.

It should go like this, Dave:

Guinness
Guinness
Fish and Chips
Guinness
More Guinness.
Roast gammon, baby new potatoes and green beans , not sure what to add yet
Question Author
Gammon is something I don't have very often but it's lovely done in the slow cooker with maple syrup or date molasses.
I’ve done it in the Ninja with Coke Lcg
Question Author
Wow, you'll have to let me know how that turns out, Bobbi.
beans on toast
Why on earth do you cook so many vegetables for two adults and one little boy? Eight varieties plus potatoes! That’s ridiculous!

Roast pork, stuffing, roast potatoes, three vegetables and gravy here at about 7.30pm.
^^ You beat me to it,Naomi! Just Macaroni for me.
Question Author
I count 7 vegetables, Naomi, and I don't see what's so ridiculous about it. To each their own, but I like variety and we will also have a dinner out of it tomorrow and left-over veg will be thrown in a soup.

Haz, why don't you push the boat out and have some cheese with your macaroni? Just macaroni must lack flavour.
^^ - just like you to say something like that - I'm even adding chopped bacon!!
LadyCG - bubble and squeak with the leftover veg for me
Pickled onion and tomato sandwich.
