Can you recommend a wine to match a starter of chicken and duck liver terrine with a Sauternes jelly?

Mmm, try a 1999 Gewurtraminer from the Alsace. The sweetness of the wine should work perfectly with the tartness of the terrine, especially if you add something like a nibble of toasted brioche
Sauternes is the classic match for rich pate starters and would be ideal for one made with Sauternes. Otherwise a rich Champagne such as Pol Roger.
Hows about a drop of Cranswick botryitsed Semillon, 4.99 a half from Asda! Great marmelade and honey taste, perfect for a very rich dish. Enjoy.
