1960S Children's Board Game

Prompted by another thread can anyone recall the name of this game. The details are someone hazy.
The markers were small funnel shaped plastic pieces with a little ball on top, the kids called them 'men' although they didn't have faces. The aim was to catch your opponents marker and stack yours on top. The stack could get quite high. I'm sure there were dice involved but unsure as to whether these were standard dice each player threw or the dice were trapped on the board in a dome.
It isn't Frustration.

I think you are right, naomi! I was wrong about the balls on top of the markers but the board is definitely the game I was thinking of.

Prudie, it's possible I had the two games mixed up in my memory. It also looks familiar with the 'ball' on top of the marker.

The game had cone shaped pieces with a 'bobble' on the top, that you moved around the board.

From what I can remember about Sorry, if you land on an occupied space,you don't stack the 'men' but push them off the board back to the beginning.

Coppit, although the board game sorry also had conical men Coppit was the one that stacked, the player on top scored by bringing their prisoners home if I remember correctly

Sorry was a family favourite with my lot, lots of ganging up... Usually on grandad who found it really funny.

We were introduced to Coppit by two friends - highly intellectual - and both as daft as a brush. The competition was fierce - and we never laughed so much! Great game!

I don't remember Home You Go at all

As kids we used to play a similar board game called 'Headache' which had the dice in the central pop-up bubble to advance your stackable cones or 'men'.

Looking at the board it definitely was not Headache.

I think it may be called Halma but I can't remember anything about the rules of play
