For our evening meal today, a supermarket one we’ve had before and enjoyed.
I seem to have lost the plot completely lately regarding cooking, just can’t be bothered even thinking about meals let alone cooking them. Same with housework, etc. I hope as spring progresses I’ll get my mojo back..
Anyhow, anyone having anything tasty tonight?

I feel the same, as I'm sure a lot of others do.
Do what suits you!
Enjoy your Thai take- away in a bag.
We're having a pop in the oven curry :-))
I am having a sausage sandwich or two if there is enough bread. HP brown fruity sauce. I will be using Mother's Pride bread which I love but I usually I am forced to eat brown bread for health reasons.I

No dessert.
Quite likely just to be soup and a roll, standing in the kitchen isn't an option today.

Enjoy your easy peasy curry Patsy. We had the choice of a curry bag or the Thai one, I couldn’t decide so OH did.
Gotta be thick sliced white hovis bread with ketchup for a perfect sausage sandwich for me, wolf. Might have to buy some sausages next week…
Oh heck Rowan, that doesn’t sound very good :( Soup and a roll is nice comfort food though. We often have a big mug full of it, sitting in front of the tv.
Just put a big piece of gammon in the slow cooker with carrots, onion and herbs. Not sure what to do with it later. It depends how I feel.

You still suffering Covid after effects Tilly?
I could even do the deliveroo thing
Question Author
We’ve never done deliveroo, have you done it before Rowan? I like the advert for it.
TBH it's them or just eat, same restaurants and takeaways, delivery charges are mostly the same, but sometimes they do offpeak offers so it's worth checking both.
Home-done prawn and mixed vegetable stir-fry in oyster sauce and steamed rice.
Apple pie and custard (both Waitrose).
Maybe we're strange...but we've never had food delivered - even pizza.
I'm also having a can't be a***d food/everything day. Lunch was chicken mayo, fried crispy skin from the thighs, and a vegan mushroom sausage that I overcooked.
Dinner is mystery meatballs from the freezer. I really just feel like eating toast and chocolate. Stuck indoors the third day in a row. First day just to rest, 2nd in for an Amazon delivery, today...raining when I wanted to go out. Can't be bothered now.
I really must do some tidying up...looks a bombsite and the housekeeper is off... ;)
Himself is having sausages in finger roll with fried onions.
I am having chicken dippers
I have never been interested in cooking. If I ended up alone I'd live on ready meals and take-aways.
Yes, Vagus. Still feeling a bit rough. Thanks for asking.
What's in the bag ?

We’ve only ever had the local Chinese takeaway delivery, and that just a couple of times. Next door have an Indian takeaway delivery most Saturday evenings, even more during lockdown.
Sorry to hear you’re still suffering Tilly, it’s a mystery why some folk really suffer and others brush it off. One of our sons and our daughter in law have been laid low with Covid of some description for about 8 weeks, not easy with two little people to cope with too, and nothing we could do to help.
Prudie, I’m liking your style! Think I may follow your example.. ;)
Mystery meatballs sound..err..interesting (not a fan of meatballs, mysterious or otherwise).
Helen, do you have anything with the chicken dippers? Or are they au naturelle?
The bag contains a red curry thing, a green curry thing, a thing of jasmine rice, a thing of spring rolls, and a bag of prawn crackers. Lots of ‘things’ which we’ve had before and really quite enjoy.
Of course, a couple of G&Ts help anything go down well ;)
I love meatballs...from traditional Italian to Chinese Lions Head. I think the ones I took out are pork and black pudding ones.
Living alone deliveries are not viable, apart from the local pub who did roast dinners during lockdown. I buy cooked chicken from Sainsbury's, get two chicken and oven chips meals out of it plus sandwiches at lunchtime then pick the rest off for the dogs.
Mr T has suggested ham, eggs, chips and peas which is easy enough.

Ordinarily, he would have suggested ham, colcannon, peas and white sauce, being of Irish stock, but he knows his limitations. :-)
Just had a Nigerian Lamb stew with fresh veg.
