Laundry mostly done and dried, large click and collect shop clicked and collected, successful trip to garden centre which wiped out this months win on the premium bonds, evening meal sorted with a bread and butter pud (made with the rather hard and crusty baguette in click and collect) unexpectedly to follow.
The sun’s shining, G&T about to be poured, dog worn out and asleep in the sun, nice to be away but very nice to be home.

nigh on 50 miles from where pasta is...and no decent sushi or dim sum restaurant here. Assuming you are eating out, pasta, where do you head to?

Hopkirk, that takes me back to when I was serving part of my National Service abroad. My mates and I were frequently accosted by locals, in the street, with cries of, "Hello, soldier! You want jiggy-jiggy? My sister very nice!"

I have finished doing my laundry and have prepared my favourite dinner for tonight, am going out for a pint, and the weather is now sunny after a washout this morning. All good.
