just over two years ago before I was cast to the boonies I recall an ABer posting a recipe which was Indian Spiced Mince with Rostis.. I duly copied it and filed it in my numerous recipe folios.
The memsahib woke up this morning and decided to cook it for this evenings meal.
It was, as always, heaven on a plate. Thank you that ABer for that easy, simple tasty repast.

It always was an awful copy. If you can't decipher it I will be happy to write it out freehand after watching the 1010 ITV news that has just started. Let me know how you get on with this image.

Will come back later. That image was awful.
That's fine, thank you. It looks delicious.
Never seen frozen rosti though.
I'd love to have the proper recipe if you don't mind.
There seem to be various recipes online by the same author as this recipe.

Google

sorry being an idiot in not properly reading the recipe!
Sounds just the sort of thing I like - thanks Retro x
Question Author
My Pleasure. Hope you enjoy and not disappointed although it was another ABer who posted the recipe over two years ago.
Yes DTCwordfan. My bad. The tinned tomatoes are part of the recipe. Somehow they ended up at the bottom of my typed recipe. :-)
Thanks for sharing this retrocop, it sounds very tasty and I love the easy peasy topping, I’m all for easy peasy these days.

My pleasure Vagus
My wife is all for easy peasy as well. That's why she decided to cook it for us yesterday. First thought in the morning when opening her eyes was 'What's easy peasy to cook today and have we got the ingredients'
:-)
I need easy peasy at the moment, one pot for meat or whatever, one for rice, pasta or spuds. Bending to use the oven is a nono.
That sounds really tasty, retro. Must try this some time!
I remember you gave me a recipe for a curried dish a few years ago, with minced lamb. I found the recipe scribbled down on a piece of paper at the back of one of my drawers.. :-)
