i love making scrambled eggs in the morning but its murder to clean pot afterwards.Any tips on how to prevent eggs sticking or an easier way to clean the pot even. I normally use milk and butter. Thanks in advance.

Do you have a microwave? If you do, cook it in a glass bowl and it's easier to clean. Cook for about 30 seconds on full, then beat. And keep doing this until the eggs are cooked. I find them much fluffier this way too. Soak the bowl in warm water immediately after serving the eggs which should make it easier to clean. Good luck and I hope this helps.

Yep! I've got to agree that the microwave does a far superior scrambled egg and saves a load of elbow grease at the sink.

Thankyou everyone so far i must try the microwave way of doing it its not something id considered.
If you do need to use a pan, cook the eggs on a much lower heat. It takes longer, but they don't stick as badly. I'm taking it for granted that you are using a good brand non-stick saucepan.
I always do them in a non stick frying pan (tefal) and they never stick. I do find that they stick to the glass bowl in the microwave though
It's simple. Make scrambled eggs in the evening instead. Seriously, though, no fancy solutions are needed for this.

Whisk the mixture in a bowl, never in the saucepan.

Never use metallic or sharp utensils to stir the mixture in the saucepan, nor to ladle out the cooked eggs.

Fill the empty pan with cold water, and wash it as soon as possble after eating your scrambled eggs, using no detergent, just water.

Replace the pan with a new non-stick one as soon as sticking problems start, and relegate the old pan to water-boiling duties (eg for pasta, vegetables, etc.).

I saw some fancy cook on the telly say the correct method of cooking scrambled eggs is in a glass bowl placed over a steaming pan of water, the same method as you would use to melt chocolate. Tried it the once and it took forever, I now just use a glass pint pot like ones you get in a pub with a handle on placed in the microwave, not only do I get perfect scrambled eggs but once the pot has soaked for a while (usually whilst eating the srcambled eggs) it only needs a quick rub round with one of those green kitchen scourers.
