We're looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend, pottering in the garden, enjoying the sun, and generally doing not much.

We actually had a couple of margaritas this afternoon, sitting in the shade and chatting about family and life in general. Dog sat in OH and then on me πŸΆπŸ•‍🦺

Family are spread far and wide and not likely to descend on us, thankfully, much as I love them.

Is your weekend going to be busy or calm or interesting or boring?? Hope you enjoy it whatever πŸ‘

What sun/shade?

It's freezingish here.

We had lots of sun this afternoon, although we don't actually sit in it anymore, we have more respect for our skin now, than we used to. This morning was a bit more mixed though.

We only came in to eat.

supercold here. ive had the heating on today

Question Author

I've had the heating on twice this week bednobs, but today, particularly this afternoon, has been lovely.

Warm day here in S.E.Scotland, sun still streaming in.  Refilling pots with Summer flowers will be one of the weekend jobs.  Beach visit, hopefully.

We have some more planting to do too, Haz. Lucky you visiting a beach, do you live close to one?

Yes, Vagus ... there are several nice ones accessible from town and one about two miles away.  Google " Belhaven Bridge : Bridge to Nowhere."  Hope you enjoy your weekend x

How lovely Haz, lucky you.

We have lots of family in Scotland...Glasgow, Edinburgh, the Borders. Not long back from near Duns ourselves, up there again end of August. Always feel I can breath better in Scotland, we love it x

We're looking forward to our just booked cottage for mid-Sept., near Langholm.  Normally we go to Hawick/Selkirk and points East.

Here (E. Yorks.) it was yet again bitterly cold, wet and grey to begin with - then the afternoon was lovely until about 5 when it became grey and bitterly cold again.  Sigh....
