Rare Event
A serious post... I suppose this is a goodbye, truth be told I'm not doing good between the ears and there is only so much a person can take, I'm doing my rounds going round places, people even websites like this before I depart
It's a lovely community you all have here and I spent many happy times on it.. But anyhow stay nice be good and keep an eye out on anyone lonely, it can be a silent killer... Sometimes it becomes to much of a burden for a person to bear on their own......

There is always someone here - I know it doesn't feel like it but there is. To be perfectly honest to whoever is listening at this minute there's been several times in the last 2 weeks that I've desperately wanted to post on here as I needed to talk to someone and I haven't, mainly because I'm a complete insomnia and barely anyone would see my post, let alone comment on it, but I know deep down someone would if I needed it.
I'm sorry to hear this Bob, I'm beginning to know what loneliness does feel like ....it's been four years since my husband died and in spite of friends' and animals' company, not having the presence of someone else in the house is starting to tell.
Always had a giggle over your bucket posts, but I think I detect a darker note in this one .....tell me I'm dreaming π
Bob, I have no words of wisdom for you.
I wish I could wave a magic wand and make everyone happy and well.
If you are able take up a hobby - do something to make you feel a tiny bit better about your life.
I have been at war with the demons in my brain for many years. I know it is hard.
Best wishes ππ
Hi Bob - I well know that being dreadfully lonely is an awful feeling. I have nights when I don't want to go to bed because I'll probably wake up again, but occasionally, when the day brings something nice, it turns out that muddling on was worth it.
You've often been a fount of fun here & I'd miss the tales of your neighbours, with or without the involvement of buckets!
There are so many good people on AB & if you feel able to keep talking, you'll be listened to. I hope you're feeling a bit brighter today & you have my very best wishes.
