Well he said he was going to be unpopular, and he's going for it as best he can. Nice to see he can make a success of things.

I'm not surprised. I'm a Labour voter but I don't agree with much of what he's done so far.

As I said here before, Tories in at the next GE. Thanks, Keir 😬

I'm the same, Cloverjo, I wonder if he was a Tory sleeper planted years ago with a view to creating a one party state by destroying Labour from within.

Na, too nasty for us me old china.

I thought he had the Gully Propaganda machine backing him.

Sir Keir, if he isn't doing his job then you should sack him.

Can we get rid of him before he does still more stupid things please.. like getting rid of free bus passes.  Whatever will he do next.

The Morning Star hates Labour more than the Mail. 🤣

He's in for five years minimum. I'd get used to it mate.

I made the same suggestion as Douglas a week or so ago.  He is a disgrace to Socialism.

Nevertheless it's highly hypocritical of the Tories to blather on about "hitting the poor pensioners', since the Tory Cost of Living `Crisis wounded pensioners far more than the WFA withdrawal.

Pensioners tend to love it when other people's benefits are means tested, but go nuts when their own are..eg the heating allowance.

//Pensioners tend to love it when other people's benefits are means tested, but go nuts when their own are..eg the heating allowance.//

A totally unfounded statement.

The problem with the WFA removel is the way it is being implemented.  As I have said before I know pensioners who give theirs to charity, so it wont bother them (might bother the charity but hey ho they only help the needy), it is the pensioners who are right at the cut off and as that cut off is so low it becomes a significant amnount.  If the cut-off was say the NAtional average wage (or similar) the WFA removal would not have the same impact to the pensioner not receiving it.

But no, the Real Nasty Party hit the poor who bothered to say a couple of bob for their old age and not only that they give them little time to put a few coppers aside over the months to be ready for it and at a time when fuel prices will rise 10%.

#labourscum.

It's not good for only a few months in office is it... first year or so is supposed to be "honeymoon period"

Question Author

07:44 I think the next 4 years of this nasty bunch will make this first 10 weeks look like the honeymoon period.
