Fish and Chip snacks/crisps.

Does anyone remember these? They used to do chicken and chips too, I'd love to know if you can still get them.

Paddy , yeah they were called bones and they were S&V flavour in a black bag, i remember buying them from the tuc shop! Does anyone remember the oxo flavour chipmonk crisps??

I also remember the Fish and Chips, although I can't remember whether the fish for example actually tasted of fish or something! As far as I remember they looked almost like minature dog biscuits or something.

I remember back in about 1986 a corner shop not far from where I live having these packs of Fish and Chips for about 10p. The packet parodied the pages of a (tabloid) newspaper where the newsprint was in either Latin or French. Would have loved to find out what the words meant - hope it wasn't anything rude!

Roughly the same time were Super Krunchies, as advertised during most Children's ITV ad breaks!

You couldn't beat Walker's Crisps mind you. I suppose I liked cheese and onion flavour because the packet was blue!

Couldn't stand being next to anyone eating a packet of Wotsits. Disgusting!

I remember "horror bags" in the late 70's early 80's i think and anyone remember the big bag of "WHEELZ" they was tastylicious,

fish n chips was my favourite thou and the chicken n chips, do they still produce them does anyone know?

They do still sell them in some random shops!! I bought them not that long ago.....a little late on the post but will keep my eyes peeled! I also remember my mum sending me to school with raspberry, strawberry or banana flavour crisps! They were kind of monster munch texture but horrible...i used to swap them for other kids food :) Oh and the beef monster munch are sold separately in the original size now too!
