A private tutor to teach me Latin. I've started an online course (they say it's never too late!) with Duolingo, which is fine as far as it goes, it corrects when you are wrong, but it doesn't explain why.

I suppose you mean me, barry - I've just bought 12 bottles of lidl DeLuxe wine with 30% off, I'd go for the really good stuff that I can't justify  buying now.

My flat could do with a makeover but I hate the thought of being messed up for days or even weeks.

Friends have just had their en suite shower room revamped - it's proved very costly & a lot of mess. And really just to install a slightly larger shower enclosure.

Cashmere knitwear, leather shoes and boots, expensive perfume, pearls, diamonds and sapphires.

...but above all a beautiful pedigree, long-haired German Shepherd.

I could be tempted to buy new alpaca wool sock for every day of winter and merino socks for every day of the summer.
