If You Could Create A Band Name

If you think of all the successful band names over the years, is their success helped by the actual band name, like The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Thin Lizzy, Status Quo, ABBA, Pink Floyd etc etc. 

If you could create a band name to make it memorable what would you use?

 

I came up with one today.  (Pink Paraffin)

Was about to post the same. But I think the name may help a bit since it isn't unknown for a name change to coincide with a change of fortune.  Avoid one your target audience won't care for, but something memorable that'll catch their eye.

Thats a good point, I tend to think it can work both ways, sometimes a band name that remains memorable can aid the bands success. 

 

If you look at the charts these days, theres not actually many of the artists that are memorable, unless I'm just showing my age.
