Go here for nutritional values of almost anything you would eat: http://www.rahul.net/cgi-bin/fatfree/usda/usda.cgi

Type the foodstuff in the search box at the top and read of result. Gives everything inc types of fats, vitamins, minersals, amino acids etc etc.

And 100g mash with salt and butter has 106 Kcal; 1.8g protein; 4.2g fat; 295mg sodium. 100g of roasted has 198 Kcal; 4.3g protein; 0.1g fat - but this depends if you are just roasting them in the oven aka 'baked', or cooking in goose fat, oilive oil, veg oil or whatever.

Alternative see: http://www.diet-guide.co.uk/nutritional-data/nutrients.asp?food=potatoes&FoodGroup=11 You will see thathe values also depend on the variety of potato - red flesh, white flesh, added salt, no salt and son, so there are in fact a load of answers to 1 easy question.

I was going to post something similar, you need to take into account that if yyou mash potatioes with butter or oil, you are going to eat all of it whereas if you roast potatoes in fat, some of it gets left behind in the pan
