i always thought it was made with the liquor that they cooked the eels in ,that's why when you make it yourself it never tastes the same , and why can't i save that page that sddsddean found googling???
as a non-Londoner I always thought liqor was an elusive mystical thing, now I know it's plain old parsley sauce! Damn t'internet it's shattered all my northern illusions!!!!
