It is non-stick but shallower than the Pineware brand I'm familiar with that is sold in South Africa. It also does not have a steam vent and has a round base attached instead of 4 legs. (The base makes it seem rather awkward to wash although the pan can be immersed in water.) Just thought you might like to know.
I've got one! After more clues from helpful answers and mroe searching on the Internet I found just what I was looking for, And what is more I only ordered it via Freephone yesterday after noon and it was here by courier at five to nine this morning. I got a Palson Evelyn Multicooker from this web site:-

34.99 including postage! There's 2 on ebay - one for 42.99 and one for 47.99 - both almost 9 on top postage. So I did well and am very pleased and can recommend the above company United Shades. Thanks to all for advice. Jody.
How are you finding yours? I'm not not so pleased with mine! It's proving far too big so hard to store and to fill with food. But the worse thing it that I've found it's either off or on - there's no medium heat or high or low. Setting it to 2 on the dial merely means it comes one less frequently than say setting it to 8. So food tend to burn and then just sits there doing nothing. So I'm still looking ofr the ideal one! Would be interested to know if you've found the same?
Jody
I tried a Palson but after 4 months the element blew, they are cheap but dont last as long as the Australian brands.
If anyone finds a local stockist in the UK I am sure there will be lots of buyers who want to know where to get them.
