Topping For A Pavlova

Does anyone know of an alternative to fruit on a pavlova - I do all the usuals - fresh cream with pineapple, kiwi, strawbs etc. but would like a change - any suggestions??

A little drop of whiskey in the cream is lovely! and then chocolate shavings over the top

You can make a banoffi type topping by putting sliced bananas on top of the cream layer and adding a toffee and chocolate sauce by melting a couple of mars bars with a liitle single cream - and yes, it has as many calories as it sounds! Never mind mmm........
