Phantom T spoon

Do any of you good people always seem to find a tea spoon at the bottom of the washing up bowl when you think you have finished washing up and pour the water away,,or is it just me!!!!

I do it all the time stevie!

Also, more often than not, I start the washing machine up, turn around, only to find one sock left behind on the floor!!!!

And it doesn't make any difference if you fish around in the water! You check, there is nothing there, you tip the water out, there is the flippin' teaspoon! And the one sock on the floor thing too smudge lol isn't life strange?

Yes it is mycatis! Our washing machine was making a screeching noise a few weeks ago - the engineer came out & retrieved a very chewed up, sorry looking sock, from the back of the drum! So that's where it was hiding!

Smudge, put all your "smalls" inside a pillow case, cannot get lost then. Ideal for those bras with wires. :-)

Thank you Pebbles (love that name) - our daughters use those large net bags for smalls & I have got one, but never bother to use it. P'raps I will next time. Ta!

Ever since I heard Victor Meldrew mention it you can guarantee there will be a teaspoon at the bottom of the bowl.

So you've got them all!! I wonder where our teaspoons continually dissapear to! Regularly have to go out and get a few more.

Agree with all of the above, but we also disappearing tea towels. There are usually loads, but when you actually need one on a Sunday to do the washing up there is a stinky one that has been used all morning all ready

LOL Always!!! No matter how much fishing around I do, its still there! And as a previous poster said, I always think of Victor Meldrew saying that if they drained Loch Ness, there would be a forty foot long teaspoon lying at the bottom!
