Plastic cone thing? A SCREWBALL!!!

I hated hated hated (and still do) Zzzaps! They are just minging but everyone used to like them. My favourite were Kermit the Frogs, Zooms and Mini Milks. Mmmm.

Oh and Orange Maids and Calippos! Yum!

asda did boxes of jublees last summer , a box of 10 for just under 2 quid ,but they were so small ,i remember them as being huuuugge!!! (or was it me that was small?)
they still do screwballs at Morrisons! My son loves them and they are a real bargain at less than a 1 for 4 !

Please bring back JUBBLIES - mainl the red ones please!

Also love banana or any other milk lollies.Orangemaid on a very hot day too.

*mainly

how about a funny foot?

I lurved cider lollies, lemonade lollies and fabs.mmmm
I've seen multipacks of screwballs and fabs in supermarkets. the funny foot was cool. also the ice cream van used to sell witches hats - a cone with an ice lolly upside down in it, really cheap too. What did the jubblies look like? I can't remember them.

Luverly Jubblies were 3 triangles made into a pyramid shape & in a tetrapak type container - if you get my drift. You used to get a pair of scissors & cut along the top, open & push it up, then suck 'til your heart was content!

If you were out & didn't have any scissors, you struggled to prise the top apart instead, risking it popping up & falling on the pavement!

this food section is so not good for my health or my credit card !!!

ooo the cider Ice lollies...yummy
Nobbly Bobblys - way better than Fabs!! Funny feet also great; good one, rowie!

Lord Toffingham's!!!!!!! mmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Nothing will ever taste like a lord toffingham! that middle bit was just HEAVEN!!!!

Pendletons Twicers were my favourite as a child.

smudge Jubblys are still available. Sainsburys sell them.

Thanks smudge! I don't think i've ever seen Jubblies...will have to have a look in Sainsburys!
I loved jublees as a kid, especially the green ones, and yes glenis there were massive then and would last for ages. the only problem was the corner that you would suck from would go all gooey!! by the time you finished.

Does anyone remember Boomies? They were on a long stick, and you got a blob or strawberry ice stuff shaped like a strawberry, and a blob of lemon shaped like a lemon and a blob or orange shaped like an orange. Nobody I have ever mentioned them to has remembered them, and I'm starting to think I dreamt my whole childhood!

Thanks.

xx

Thank you Artemis - we shop in Sainsbury's, but didn't realise they sold Jubblies.

I shall be down there first thing on Monday for a look. I hope they are still as big & juicy as the old ones!

Mmmmmmm loved jublees, I s'pose sun lollies are the nearest thing to them nowadays. what about merlin's brew (a minty chocolate flavoured cream ice lolly)
