Ice-skating - have you learnt to skate?

After watching Dancing on Ice for the last few weeks, I know feel the need to learn to ice-skate!

I am 31 and wondered if anyone else has learnt to skate as an adult and how did they get on?

I haven't but all the celebrity skaters must have been around that age or more and look what they achieved. Go for it.

my kids took to it no problem thru their roller-blading expertise.i tried with...ahem...a little less success.when you go,take it slowly as even the basics are tricky at first.
