Anthony sells the veg online, so you could try a couple of varieties and then go for the seed before committing to growing before tasting. I' d really suggest you try Fortyfold - brilliant old variety reputed to have been brought to England by Wellingtons troops after Waterloo - or the Duke of Yorks, Red and White skinned as a good versatile variety. Highland Burgundy is a red flesh with white inner ring - thats a good one too....it will depend on your soil, but worth trying the older varieites as these give a real flavour.

- Clean, dry & pierce med/large baking spuds, then wrap them in kitchen roll.
- Place them in microwave until turning soft.
- Partially slice them through in a shape of a fan.
- Place some decent oil, a little butter & seasoning of your choice inbetween the slices.
- Place them in the oven until crispy.
When it's just the two of us eating, my husband makes these & they're really scrumpious!
